Event Description

In celebration of Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day, Southeast Missouri State University faculty members are hosting a panel discussion to celebrate the power or women and focus on women in Latin America. Scheduled topics include: Gender Based Violence in America, Women and Warfare, the Role of Women in Latin American Politics, the Strength of Women and Creative Non-Fiction: A Professional Arena for Hispanic Women Investigators. The public is invited to attend “Voces Latinas” from 6 - 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 8 in the University Center Ballroom. Admission is free and snacks will be provided.
