Stacy Dohogne Lane is the Director of Public Relations for the Cape Girardeau Convention and Visitors Bureau and has been promoting her hometown as a tourism destination since August of 2011.

She has a bachelor's degree in Public Relations from Southeast Missouri State University, and she proudly serves on the Cape Girardeau Public Library's Board of Trustees and enjoys exploring Cape Girardeau's trails, parks, downtown and farmers markets with her family.sla

The Academy of St. Martin in the Fields comes to the River Campus on March 22nd.  Universally recognized as the finest in the world, this magnificent chamber orchestra is sure to provide a memorable night out.

The longest running pancake event in the United States is happening right here in our river city this Wednesday.  The Lion’s Club is hosting their 79th annual Pancake Day at the Arena Building, and in addition to pancakes, juice and sausage, this event is served with a hearty helping of community spirit - don’t miss it!

It’s hard to believe, but the River Campus is celebrating 10 years of excellence in the arts!  Take a student-led tour, stop by the pre-concert talk and attend the dedicatory concert at Bedell Performance Hall at "A Tribute to the River Campus: Past Present, and Future," all taking place today, March 7, 2017, at the historic River Campus.

Stroll downtown art galleries on the First Friday of every month from 5 - 9 p.m. at First Friday with the Arts!  Galleries host artist receptions and openings  and often feature live music, beverages and appetizers. Many local downtown shops and restaurants join in the fun as well, staying open into the night and featuring special guests and other events.

The special 10th season production reprises the first ever River Campus performance of Big River!  Mark Twain’s timeless classic, sweeps you down the Mighty Mississippi as Huck Finn helps his friend Jim escape to freedom February 22nd through 26th at Bedell Performance Hall.

Sit around the fire and explore another time through the stories of Lewis and Clark at the Nature Center on Friday, February 24th.
