Shakespeare’s most popular comedy will be at the River Campus April 26-29 -- see a Midsummer Night’s Dream in the intimate environment of the Rust Flexible Theatre.

Kentucky native Chris Stapleton is in concert on April 28 at the Show Me Center.

Mechanics and acrobatics come together at Circque Mechanics on April 28.

It’s a bird, it’s a plane….it IS a bird, at the Nature Center’s Feathered Friends on April 29, with live hawk and owl presentations and other avian activities.

The organ at the majestic Old St Vincent’s Church comes to life at a free organ concert on April 30.

Spring is here and Farmers Markets are back for the season!  The Cape Farmers Market opened up on April 13 with homemade baked goods, plants for your garden, barbeque, local honey, and fresh fruits and veggies.  Stop by Thursdays through November from Noon - 5 p.m. in the southwest parking lot at West Park Mall.

The Cape Riverfront Market will open up shop at 35 S. Spanish Street in historic downtown Cape Girardeau on Saturday, May 6, with live music, demonstrations, local produce and baked goods - with tables and chairs set up under shade trees where you can settle in with a cup of coffee and take it all in. The Cape Riverfront Market is happening Saturdays May 6 through the end of October from 8 a.m. - Noon. Don’t miss the freshest produce and baked goods around at one of Cape Girardeau’s two outstanding farmers markets!
