Summer is here and so is the heat, so we rounded up all kinds of good-to-know info on Cape Girardeau's pools and water parks, plus a few extras just because!|

Looking to take a dip without the water park amenities? Central Pool is your swimming hole. Accessible during the winter months when the seasonal insulated bubble keeps the water toasty, this Olympic-size pool has lots of deck space with bleachers and umbrellas and a kid's pool perfect for smaller swimmers. The high dive and diving boards will keep your older more adventurous kids happy, and meter after meter of aqua water keeps everyone cool all summer long.

Recreational Swimming is available Monday - Thursday from 1 - 5 p.m. and from 1 - 7 p.m. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. 14 and up swim for $3.25, children 13 and under are $2.50 and 60+ are $2.75.
