The Southeast Athletic Department has unveiled a new premium seating area at Redhawk Basketball games, open exclusively at select games during the semester break.
At all three of the basketball doubleheaders during the semester break, the student section bleachers will be pushed back against the wall to create a premium courtside lounge and bar called the Fast Break Lounge.
The Fast Break Lounge will be a designated area where, for the first time ever at SEMO Basketball, adult beverages are available for purchase and consumption during a Southeast Basketball game. Standard concessions food will also be available.
The area will feature limited seating, including some high-top tables, as well as ample standing room during the game. All fans with any game ticket are permitted to come and go through the Fast Break Lounge, though beverages will not be permitted to be taken out of the designated area.
The Fast Break Lounge will debut next Thursday, December 28 when the Redhawks women and men open up Ohio Valley Conference play against the defending champion Belmont Bruins. And since the Southeast Pep Band is also off campus during the semester break, opening night of the Fast Break Lounge on Thursday will also feature live entertainment from the Old Cape Road band. The women tip off at 5:15 p.m., followed by the men at approximately 7:30. Show Me Center doors and the Fast Break Lounge will open at 4:15 p.m.
The Fast Break Lounge will also be open at the basketball doubleheaders on January 11 and January 13. Tickets for all Redhawk Basketball games are available online at GoSoutheast.com, and fans are encouraged to use the Print-At-Home option to avoid lines at Will Call.
