It’s been nearly a year since the racially charged student led protest at the University of Missouri, which led to the resignation of UM System President Tim Wolfe. As a result, universities across the country were left to figure out how to tackle conversations on racial issues. A year ago, I reported on how Southeast started the conversation long before the events at MU. Recently, I sat down Sonia Rucker, the coordinator of Institutional Equity and Diversity at Southeast.
