This week’s episode of KRCU’s Going Public we’ll hear from Dr. Adam Criblez, the director of the Center for Regional History and author of the new book “Tall Tales and Short Shorts: Dr. J, Pistol Pete and the Birth of the Modern NBA. We’ll talk about about the awkward years of the NBA during the 1970s, its numerous controversies, the influence of three of the NBA’s top tier players, and the reason behind those short shorts. Then Gov. Eric Greitens is increasingly at odds with Rob Schaaf, a Republican state senator from St. Joseph who is skilled at killing legislation. Schaaf is targeting a non-profit that’s pushing the governor’s agenda. And later on in the show we’ll take a look at the dramatic dip in corporate tax revenue.
