Maple sugaring has a rich history and it’s still practiced today. Learn the history, equipment and process of making maple syrup this Saturday afternoon from 1-4.

Ghanian-American concert pianist William Chapman Nyaho (Nee-yah-ho) brings his unique cultural background and eclectic sense of music to the Shuck Recital Hall at the River Campus this Sunday at 3 p.m.

We’re back with more indoor spots where your kids can burn off wiggles during wintry weather! Inflatable bouncers from slides, to obstacle courses, a jousting arena and a toddlers-only bouncer, all surrounded by a parent friendly seating area where you can keep tabs on your energetic kids at Safari Playland, inside West Park Mall. Are you paying for a nap? Yes, you are. Is it worth it? Absolutely. Your kids can get all kinds of energy out of their systems at this indoor bounce house playground.

The Cape Public Library has a comfortable play space in children's section that includes sensory boards, a fully stocked play kitchen and books helpfully organized by "trucks," "princesses," "trains" and so on. Wii and XBox Gaming systems and a special teens only space make the library an engaging spot to pass a morning or afternoon.
