Also at the Cape Girardeau Conservation Nature Center, expand your skills beyond leaf identification and discover what other features can be used to identify tree species at Winter Tree ID on Saturday, January 13 from 1-3 p.m. After all, you don’t know a tree until you see it leafless! Bundle up and wear comfortable shoes as this naturalist-led hike will take place on the Ridgetop Trail behind the nature center.
