Music Is In the Air at the River Campus

Southeast Missouri State University

This spring, music is in the air, and if you visit the River Campus, it’s really good music!

Sundays at Three opens its spring season with two Italian musicians offering romantic masterworks. Clarinetist Andrea Massimo Grassi has performed around the world, and he’ll be joined by Pianist Anna Quaranta. And you can see these world-renowned musicians in your own back yard for just $15.

Musicians a bit closer to home but still worth the price of admission, the St. Louis Symphony once again takes the stage in a concert at the River Campus. This time, with new resident conductor Gemma New. New hails from New Zealand and is much sought after for her insightful interpretations and dynamic presence. You can check out the Symphony sans the two hour drive north on April 13.

Don’t forget, next week is First Friday. That means the Art Gallery and Crisp Museum are open later, debuting new exhibits and hosting receptions. Check out Salon Des Refuses and the Annual Juried Student Exhibition respectively.

For all the latest and full calendars, check out River Campus.org. As always, I hope to see you soon at the Box Office!
