Need holiday gift ideas or entertainment? Consider the River Campus your one stop shop.
Let’s start with entertainment because we have three performances you’ll want to pencil in your calendar. The Southeast Wind Symphony takes the stage on December 5 with a dynamic program featuring songs with elements of spinning, turning, and whirling. And if that’s how you feel during the holidays, make time for a night of ballet and relax as the holiday classic The Nutcracker transports you to the Land of Snow and the Kingdom of Sweets on December 8. The Ruth Page Civic Ballet brings exquisite dancing, subtle costumes and classic music with this holiday treat. And speaking of treats, make time for one of my favorite River Campus Holiday traditions on December second. The Southeast Percussion Ensemble’s Family Holiday Concert.
There’s two showings of this concert now in its tenth year, and did I mention it’s free?
Now that you’re relaxed and oozing the holiday spirit, let’s take care of that shopping list. Not only do tickets to River Campus events make great gifts, you can also give gift cards and let recipients decide for themselves when and which shows they can’t miss.
Don’t forget: The Buddy Holly Story is on stage tonight, visit us at RiverCampus.org for last minute tickets. As always if you have specific questions or need gift card information, call me at 573-651-2265. I’m Ellen Farrow, and I hope to see you soon at the Box Office!
