SEMO Vet Corps to Celebrate 50th Anniversary During Homecoming

Homecoming at Southeast will be held the weekend of October 14, 2017. There are many activities planned including the Alumni breakfast which starts at 7:30 a.m. The Homecoming Parade starts at 9:30 a.m. and the football tailgate follows at Houck Stadium with live music, refreshments, and the Redhawks Marching Band, Sundancers, and Rowdy the Redhawk!

Tours of the Academic Hall Dome will be available from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and the football game starts at 1 p.m.

In addition, the SEMO Vet Corps will celebrate their 50th Anniversary during Homecoming.

Vietnam Veteran Tom Meyer visited with Dan Woods and talked about some of the planned activities.

Dan is a 1994 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. He majored in radio and minored in political science. He spent three of his four years at Southeast working as a student announcer at KRCU – the beginning of his radio career.
