Two-Minute Drill: Vote for Cleveland in “Dark Horse Dunker” Competition

Southeast Missouri's electrifying dunk leader Antonius Cleveland has advanced to the second-round of the 2017 Dark Horse Dunker competition. The winner of the Dark Horse Dunker digital-media contest will compete in the State Farm College Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships, an event featuring some of the best college dunkers and three-point shooters in the country, held annually in the Final Four host city.

Cleveland is currently in the quarterfinals round of 8 in the bracket style competition, and he is matched up this week against Murray State’s Demarcus Croaker.

You can help Antonius represent Southeast Missouri State at the College Slam Dunk contest by voting for him online. Visit DarkHorseDunker.com and vote for Antonius Cleveland. Fans can vote once per day on multiple devices.

Cleveland helped lead the Redhawk in an impressive 90-61 home victory last Saturday over UT Martin – a win that vaulted the Redhawks in a three-way tie for first place in the OVC West division coming into the week. The Redhawks men could clinch the OVC West title with two home wins this week.

The Redhawk Basketball teams will play their final home games tomorrow, Saturday February 25, against Austin Peay. The women tip-off at 2 p.m., followed by the men at 4:15. Senior Day ceremonies will be held prior to each game to recognize the senior Redhawks who are playing in their final home game as Redhawks.
