In this edition of the program, Dr. Vargas talks about the new pet friendly community coming to Southeast in Fall 2018 and the new dean of the Harrison College of Business, Dr. Alberto Dávila of Edinburg, Texas. 

In addition, Vargas shares details of an agreement between Southeast and Mineral Area College (MAC) to help MAC students ease their transition to Southeast, the construction of a new NPHC (National Pan-Hellenic Council) Plaza to provide a greenspace for student recreation and events and recognize Southeast’s NPHC chapters, the Department of Computer Science celebrating its 50th anniversary, and the Redhawks men’s basketball team being eligible for post-season play in the 2018-2019 season.

Dan is a 1994 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. He majored in radio and minored in political science. He spent three of his four years at Southeast working as a student announcer at KRCU – the beginning of his radio career.
