In this edition of the Vargas Speaks, Dr. Vargas discusses how the university is prepared for attacks on campus with the recent news of an attack on the Ohio State University campus in late November 2016. There was also discussion on the budget in the state of Missouri and what 2017's budget for Higher Education may look like.

In addition, we take a look back at the year 2016.

Dan is a 1994 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. He majored in radio and minored in political science. He spent three of his four years at Southeast working as a student announcer at KRCU – the beginning of his radio career.
