"Mary Poppins" debuts at the River Campus next week and you should fly on over to the River Campus now to get your tickets. A cast of nearly 50 students will bring this Disney classic to life on the Bedell stage and we caught up with some of them to get the behind the scenes scoop.

We spoke with Abigail Alsmeyer who plays Mary Poppins and Jose Alpizar who plays the role of Bert.

Are you that person? In the drug store on February 13 trying to find the best of what’s left in cards and chocolate? Well, have I got a deal for you!

Love is in the air, and at the River Campus, we definitely love what we do. So much so, we want to share it with you this Valentine’s Day. The River Campus is a great date night destination.

I know what you’re thinking, February is upon us bringing chocolate and candy hearts, but have you considered jazz, ceramics and bassoon?

This Friday is first Friday at the River Campus and that means new artwork is being unveiled in the River Campus Art Gallery. An artist talk and opening reception is being held for Minnesota-based artist, Marko Fields. Fields work is highly ornate, colorful, with a flair for whimsy. That sounds like a great way to spend a Friday evening.

Also on the grounds this weekend, the Clark Terry/Phi Mu Alpha Jazz Fest.

Do you know Clark Terry? He was an American trumpeter, a composer, an educator and an NEA Jazz Masters inductee.

And, why are we talking about Clark Terry? Because we’re just weeks away from the Clark Terry/Phi Mu Alpha Jazz Fest at the River Campus and this is your opportunity to see the next generation of jazz musicians take on the classics.

Now in its 20th year, students from across the region will descend on the River Campus, play for jazz experts in a live clinic session and culminate in the annual gala concert that evening.
