A Fish Fry Offers a True Local Specialty this Spring

Hear the most famous symphony ever written tonight at the River Campus at 7:30 p.m., when Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony will be performed.

This Thursday March 8, the Percussion Ensemble and Steel Drum Band come together for a spring concert at 7:30 p.m.

Smith’s Car Auction will be at the Show Me Center this weekend with their eclectic collection of exceptional vehicles available for purchase and perusal. 

Sample a true local specialty on your trip to Cape Girardeau at a fish fry this spring!  Every year during the Lenten season, deep fryers are fired up and homemade desserts are artfully arranged at a variety of fish frys in Southeast Missouri.  The Knights of Columbus Hall on Spanish Street, St. Vincent De Paul, Scott City’s KC Hall, and the Jackson KC Hall are all putting on fish fries throughout Lent on Friday evenings. Don’t miss these regional, community-filled evenings full of fish and fun that folks of all ages will enjoy that you can experience in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
