In recent months, Cape Girardeau Police Officers have been responding to a growing number of mental health calls. And now, thanks to a partnership between the Cape Girardeau Police Department and the Community Counseling Center, officers are learning different techniques on how to respond to these incidents through a crisis intervention training.
