This week’s episode of KRCU’s Going Public we’ll hear why local artist Dave Carter is capturing some of southern Missouri’s remaining mills with the stroke of a brush and the click of a camera. We’ll hear more on Carter’s process and some of the stories behind the mills. Then, a student veterans organization is working to renovate a transitional home for homeless and troubled veterans in the area. And later on in the show KRCU’s General Manager Dan Woods explains what President Trump’s proposal to eliminate federal funding from public media could mean for public radio and KRCU.
