** Due to overwhelming interest in the 'Pinta' and the 'Nina,' the Captain of the ships has decided to extend their stay in Cape Girardeau. Originally scheduled to open for tours Friday, September 29 and stay until Monday, October 2, the sailing museums will now be docked at Riverfront Park in Cape Girardeau through Sunday, October 8, adding six full days of tours. Ships will be open for tours from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. September 29 - October 8.**

The Glenn House / The Glenn House

The Glenn House in Cape Girardeau is offering Holiday Tours during the Christmas season. Starting the Friday after Thanksgiving until the Sunday after Christmas, tours will be offered every Saturday and Sunday.

The theme for this year’s Christmas at the Glenn House is “Home for the Holidays” and the idea behind it is to evoke in visitors memories of celebrating Christmas during their childhood.

In addition to the event put in place at Wehrenberg Theatres' Cape West 14 Cine, two after parties will be hosted at the Isle of Capri Casino in Downtown Cape Girardeau after the screening of October 2nd and 3rd, from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Motorcycle Cannonball Endurance Run / Motorcycle Cannonball Endurance Run

The Motorcycle Cannonball Endurance Run is a cross-country endurance race for vintage or antique motorcycles, and it will come through Cape Girardeau on Tuesday, September 9th. A welcome party will await the riders at the finish line.

One-hundred-and-ten riders from all over the world and the United States will compete in the race, with some of them coming from countries as far away as Poland, Italy and South Africa.
