A Preview of "Sunday at Three" for 2017-2018 Season

What can you see in the Shuck Recital Hall this fall? Quirky quintets, bluegrass and even some local faces.

The "Sundays at Three" professional music series brings in artists from across the country and around the globe. As the series starts its eleventh season at the River Campus, we say goodbye to some old friends and welcome new faces. Artistic director Brandon Christensen exits the stage for a new job out west and Gabrielle Baffoni says she is excited to step in to guide the series.

That’s the sound of the world’s best rock n’ roll musical—Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story making its way to the Bedell stage this fall.

Did you know that in addition to the great student and faculty productions at the River Campus, you can also see Broadway caliber touring shows? This season will see a line up eight such performances ranging from everyone’s favorite sister in another installment of the "Late Nite Catechism" series to "Stomp," a percussion group that uses ordinary objects to create rhythm and acrobatics.

Mark your calendars now for June 17 to experience the Fourth Annual River Campus Summer Arts Festival. This all day event promises something for everyone. Rhonda Weller-Stilson is the director and associate dean of the Earl and Margie Holland School of Visual and Performing Arts.

This week sees the fourth of four B-F-A graduating senior exhibitions at the River Campus art gallery. If you missed the beginning, you’ll want to take advantage of your last chance. The exhibition shows the culmination of work and studies for a student pursuing the Bachelor of Fine Arts in the Department of Art.
